Live Storytelling Opportunity!
/Out There and Common Outdoor Ground are co-hosting an evening of campfire stories in Centennial, Wyoming on June 22, 2024.
If you’re interested in telling a story, we’d love to hear from you!
Details:
Your story should focus on a moment/memory/experience that shaped your relationship with public land.
Each storyteller gets 10 minutes.
This is a live event, so you’ll need to tell your story in person, without reading from a script.
If you’d like to tell a story:
Submit your idea here by May 11.
Give us a synopsis of the story you plan to tell.
If you’re wondering where to begin, here are some questions to consider: What’s the basic storyline? What was at stake for you? What obstacles/challenges did you face? What ended up happening? How did the experience change you?
Note: We are asking for verbal (rather than written) story pitches so we can get a sense for your speaking style.
Pitch deadline: May 11, 2024. If you are selected to tell a story, we’ll let you know by May 25.
